Whitby
Looking seaward along the disused and disconnected tracks running along Whitby's Endeavour Wharf. The lines ran between the river and a large transhipment shed, enabling wagons to be loaded direct from seagoing vessels or from the shed itself. As the wharf has been out of use commercially for over a decade the goods shed has been demolished, and the cleared area is now used mainly for car parking.
