Eastfield Shed
Stanier 3P 2-6-2T 40186 stands in a siding alongside Eastfield shed in late 1963. Withdrawn from Motherwell at the end of the previous year, the locomotive was one of a number temporarily stored here awaiting transfer to nearby Cowlairs Works for cutting up. This finally took place in December 1963.
