Irvine Bank Street

Looking east along Bank Street, Irvine, on 10 December 2015. The young lady is walking past what was once the Lanarkshire and Ayrshire Railway's 1890 terminus in the town. Closed to passengers in 1930, the location continued to handle goods traffic for several years before that too ceased in 1939. The building is currently occupied by an insurance company and a property surveyor.
