Ormskirk
Ormskirk Now and Then. EMU 508136 waits at Ormskirk prior to departing for Liverpool Central. See image 19549 of the same location in 1972, since when the footbridge and down line have been removed, the bay platform has been filled in to form a footpath and there has been a general increase in the amount of vegetation. However, the end on meeting with Preston DMUs continues to this day and a Class 153 Sprinter stands behind the EMU.
