Cart Junction
Scene just North West of Cart Junction on the old route to Kilmacolm in July 2015. The bridge was demolished around 2004, some 20 years after closure of the branch. This location looks very rural and peaceful in this view, but it is only a mile or two from the former Linwood car plant. Notice the lamp post to the right of the tall tree - this marks the alignment of the busy A737 road.
