Wyre Viaduct

A Colas light engine working from Doncaster to Carlisle on 19th April was routed via Copy Pit and Preston rather than the S&C. This brought the unusual sight of a Class 60 on the WCML (although they have since become regular performers on the Chirk log trains). Recently refurbished 60002 is seen here crossing the River Wyre on the six arch bridge at Scorton.
