Powderhall Loop

The driver climbs down from 60084 on 'Binliner' duties on the Powderhall Branch in July 1995. The view is towards Powderhall from the Dryden Terrace bridge. The right background has changed considerably over the last 20 years with housing on the former waste ground and the works demolished and built over. I should point out that the litter on the track must have been chucked from the overbridge as despite carrying nothing but landfill refuse the branch is mostly litter-free!
