Farnworth
A view of Farnworth station towards the tunnels (and Salford Crescent) on 10 May 2015 as the platform on the left is being removed in order to realign the approach to the tunnel. Although the line was closed over the weekend it is open Monday to Friday with all services using the down line (on the right) while work continues on the left hand bore. The station is however closed throughout the work which is scheduled to last until October.
