With just a few weeks to go before the last 012 oil-fired Pacifics based at Rheine were withdrawn, 012 075 roars through the cutting north of Lathen (one of the few distinctive topographical features on the Emsland line) in May 1975 with train E3260, 07:50 Norddeich - Rheine.
