Mount Vernon North

A section of the Glasgow, Bothwell, Hamilton and Coatbridge Railway trackbed survives in the middle of housing in Mount Vernon in 2015, with a culvert for the Tollcross burn halfway along its length. Notable for its use in the recent past for exercising horses, this remnant of the line can be seen from the former Sandyhills Road overbridge (now infilled).
