Dalston Western Junction
A class 313 EMU on a North London Line Richmond - North Woolwich service approaching Western Junction signal box from the Canonbury direction in July 2005. The trackbed of the line down to the now demolished former terminus at Broad Street can be seen on the left. This trackbed has been earmarked as part of the East London Line extension north from Shoreditch, which will join the NLL here. Dalston Kingsland station stands behind the camera see image 40988.
