Pontrhydyfen

The village of Pontrhydyfen in the Afan Valley has two viaducts. The nearest structure shown here was an aqueduct, but visible through the arch is the abutment of the viaduct that carried the Rhondda and Swansea Bay line. Pontrhydyfen is also the birthplace of Richard Burton.
