Dumfries Goods Junction
A busy scene at the north end of Dumfries on 15 April 1963. Photograph taken from a window of Scottish Rambler No 2 which is waiting to enter the station off the Lockerbie branch behind Jubilee 45588 Kashmir. The hold up is to allow the passage of a London relief, approaching the station in the background behind another Jubilee 45659 Drake. Standing alongside the special is 78026, the Dumfries station pilot.
