Lenwade

A stiff breeze swishes the foliage near Lenwade station on 16th September 1978. The view is of the rail bridge across the River Wensum, just to the north of the station (which is visible behind the distant crossing gates with a DMU railtour at the platform). Freight trains had to stop at this point to receive instructions from the staff based at the former station. After line closure and the conversion of the trackbed into a footpath and cycle route, the bridge remained as part of Marriot's Way.
