The second (1915) station at Monkseaton, built to replace the 1860 Blyth & Tyne station (originally opened as Whitley). View south east along Norham Road in July 2004. Monkseaton is now served by trains on the Tyne & Wear Metro. See image 1123 [Ref query 5881]
