One of Manchester's shorter branch lines. Metrolink 3087 travels along the 360m spur off the Eccles line and approaches the two platform terminus at Media City UK. On most days the station is served by direct shuttles between here and Piccadilly but on Sundays the service is provided by the Eccles line trams that call here in both directions before reversing and rejoining their original route.
