Millerhill South Junction
The south end of Millerhill yard on Sunday 21 September 2014 looking north. The blue signs affixed to the fence read 'Barhale', the specialist organisation contracted to handle the civil engineering aspects of the new anaerobic digestion plant (pardon me) a type of food waste recycling facility being built on behalf of Edinburgh and Midlothian Councils. Access to the new plant will eventually be from Whitehill Road at the north end via a new bridge over the Borders Railway. The road on the right gives access to the south east sector of the yard where other work is taking place in preparation for future developments.
