Neilston Low

70002 John Bunyan climbing Neilston Bank unassisted with a 12 coach load on the approach to Neilston Low on 17 July 1965. Most heavy trains and expresses at the time took on pilot assistance as far as Kilmarnock, usually in the form of a Midland 2P 4-4-0.
