Sassnitz Mukran
There are no less than four separate sets of tracks into the Sassnitz Mukran ferry complex on Ruegen - this is the non-electric broad-gauge access serving train ferries to Lithuania and Russia, bereft of traffic on 19th June. Sassnitz Mukran is the largest railway port in Germany, with a total track length of 30kms broad-gauge and 60kms standard-gauge in the port and adjacent marshalling yard / rail works.
