Cornhill Junction
A particularly rural outpost of the NER was Cornhill Junction, seen looking south in May 2014. The track to the right - now passable by bike if you don't mind lifting it over stiles - was twin track to Kelso, the distinctly rougher path to the left was single track to Alnwick.
