This view looking North-West along the S&D trackbed may look unwelcoming, but things could be worse. Read the small print: under NO PARKING, it says 'please', in very small letters. There is a path through the trees in the background; and trackbed access is much better than on the other side of the road, where a private driveway effectively prohibits access. see image 47083 for the nicest railway relic in town
