Bressingham

Britannia Pacific No 70013 Oliver Cromwell simmers in the leafy setting of Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens in August 1978. The engine was in a kind of limbo, isolated from the national network and, as seen here, steamed just to provide brief cab rides for visitors. After becoming a purely static exhibit a few years later, it was eventually restored to working order by the Great Central Railway and started hauling trains on the network again in 2008.
