Thorpe le Soken
August Bank Holiday Monday 1978 finds Thorpe le Soken the focus of much human activity, not all of it train related. The approach road hosts a special holiday market. Locals attracted by the event wait to return down the line to Clacton/Walton, most having been less than enthused by a few racks of not so special secondhand clothes and an ice cream van.
