Clacton
Early afternoon at Clacton on August Bank Holiday Monday 1978. 37026 and its excursion stock are berthed in platform 4 while the passengers enjoy themselves on the beach and pier. Another excursion train headed by 47252 is in the carriage sidings behind the camera. Station staff will be taking it easy, preparing for the mass exodus around teatime.
