Mellis
The former station at Mellis recorded on 20th August 1978 as 47115 dashes through with a Norwich to London service. The signal box was still in use despite the station (once the junction for the Eye branch) having closed to passengers some 12 years earlier. Note the signalmans wing mirror, enabling a better view of the level crossing and its signals. [Ref Query 15487]
