Heriot
An Edinburgh - Gorebridge local dmu photographed on the B709 level crossing at Heriot in September 1968. The train has run ecs from Gorebridge in order to reverse on the crossover here. (Heriot was used as the crossover point following closure of the facility at Borthwick Bank two months earlier). The STOP sign on the right indicates the junction with the A7.
