Crosshouse

The BLS/SLS Scottish Rambler, comprising CR 123 and the two preserved Caledonian coaches, stands at Crosshouse station on the north western outskirts of Kilmarnock on 24 April 1962. The special had been scheduled to travel from Glasgow Central to Kilmarnock by way of Whitecraigs, but on the day was routed via Dalry due to a signalling error.
