Wakefield Kirkgate
The present, less than glamourous, entrance to Wakefield Kirkgate is via the opening seen on the right of the view. The original station entrance was into a large ticket hall, with doors at each end, located in the extended section with the canopy. The canopy has been stripped back during the station building major refurbishment being carried out from autumn 2013.
