Duchal Moor

DS attempts the impossible on the remains of the Duchal Moor Railway in Renfrewshire in 1994. The former locomotive shed is to the left and the village of Kilmacolm is in the distance. This network of narrow-gauge lines - used for grouse-shooting parties - extended for seven miles across the moor and closed in the 1970s. (Photograph by Moya Cove).
