Preston (Ribble Branch)

Recently restored 0-4-0ST No.6 (AB 2261/1949) has joined the RSR fleet allowing two steam locos to work their Santa Specials. The big Barclay, once employed in the Fife coalfields, is seen here leaving the museum station top and tailed with Austerity Walkden. It was rescued from the Thomas Muir scrapyard in Thornton See image 26554 and after working at Preston for a couple of seasons left for the Cambrian Heritage Railway in 2016.
