Forth Bridge

A Sprinter heads north to Kirkcaldy on the Forth Bridge in 1995. This photograph was taken during an inspection of the removal of bird lime. The track nearest the camera was closed at the time. If a train came we were asked to face the fence, place our arms over it and hold on. When a train finally came it was a tamper, going northbound at almost no speed, nonetheless we did as instructed.
