Redbridge
If you look at a railway map, Redbridge (West of Southampton) may look like a good place to watch both freight and passenger operations. In practice, a rake of empty container flats was the only sign of freight and most passenger trains passed through without stopping. There was also little shade from the sun. Lesson learned!
