Aberystwyth
In an effort to brighten up the VoR image, BR applied a modified blue livery to Nos 7 and 9 in 1976/77. The most obvious change was the application of black and white lining but in addition the positions of the name and number plates were altered and brass double arrow logos affixed to the cab sides. Owain Glyndwr and Prince of Wales were photographed outside Aberystwyth shed at Easter 1977.
