60532 Blue Peter shortly after arrival at Glasgow Central with Scottish Rambler No 5. The A2, which had taken over the train at Montrose, had subsequently been borrowed at Inverkeithing to assist the stalled Inverness - York car sleeper, thus the special arrived back in Glasgow in the early hours of 10 April, some 3 hours 40 minutes late
