Obstfelderschmiede
Track-level view down the 1 in 4 gradient at the Obstfelderschmiede terminus of Germany's unique funicular Oberweissbacher Bergbahn in the forested hills of the Thuringer Wald on 28 June 2013. The sloping split-level passenger coach is waiting to depart for Lichtenhain. The turntable to the left allows interchange of standard-gauge rolling stock (carried ' piggyback' on the 1.8m gauge funicular) from the Schwartzatalbahn branch, which is a right angles to the funicular behind the station building.
