Woodacre Crossing

The maroon livery of Jubilee 4-6-0 45699 is quite striking in its own right and certainly didn't need a Stratford liveried 47580 behind its tender to turn heads. Anyone who saw the part cut wreck of Galatea in Barry as I did See image 59244 can only be amazed at the loco today. Working its first Fellsman excursion since restoration 45699 heads south at Woodacre on 17 July with diesel assistance due to fire risk.
