Highworth
Looking towards Swindon by the very busy B4019, the bed of the Highworth branch can just be seen - along with a crossing gatepost, and if you have particularly fine eyesight, a short wall remains from the former bridge across the stream on the right. Until MG Rover crashed in 2005, the stub of this branch supplied panels from the former Pressed Steel plant in Swindon to the Longbridge car plant. See image 22079
