Plates, signs, notices etc
Patina personified - the maker's plate on Lilla see image 43578. The white infill appears to be a build-up of brass polish. Hunslet's marketing manager recently told me that their first export engine went to Java; the customer liked it so much that they bought another one just like it - 105 years later!
