Pleasington
Trying to regain some lost time, 46233 Duchess of Sutherland makes an impressive sight as the Cumbrian Mountain Express approaches Pleasington station on the western outskirts of Blackburn on 22 May 2013. This leg of the tour was from Carlisle to Farington Junction via the S&C where steam would hand over to electric power see image 43185.
