Mossbridge

Looking south-east from the road bridge over the former CLC line from Southport to Liverpool at the site of Mossbridge station in May 2013. Nothing remains of the station which closed to passengers as long ago as January 1917, although the line itself survived until 1952. The trackbed is now used as the Cheshire Lines Path for cyclists and walkers.
