The third in the ICE series of plaques commemorating engineer John
Miller (the others are at Haymarket and Ayr) was unveiled at
New Cumnock Station on 2 May 2013 by Andy Savage, executive director of the Railway Heritage Trust and Provost Jim Todd of East Ayrshire.
