Dunblane
Christmas Eve 1987 finds a local service from Edinburgh terminating at Dunblane shortly before the holiday shutdown. This close up reveals the woeful state of the DMU stock at the time and it is a minor miracle that Haymarket depot managed to keep such life-expired units patched up and “on the road”.
