Rannoch Viaduct

An unidentified class 37 in Transrail Freight livery takes the Euston to Fort William sleeper over the viaduct just north of Rannoch station on a crystal clear but bitingly cold February morning in 1996. The photographer had just alighted from the train and was grateful for the freezing conditions which made progress easy over the normally boggy terrain hereabouts.
