Clifton and Lowther

DRS 66305 waits with a long container train in the Up Loop at Clifton and Lowther for southbound WCML passenger services to overtake. The second line of trees above the train mark the course of the Stainmore line to Appleby (East) which diverged from the WCML just north of this point. The Down Line equivalent loop to this one is situated in Penrith itself See image 41209
