Nuneaton

The view east from platform 7 at Nuneaton in February 2013. This barren site once supported a pub (the Grazier's Arms). The pub was demolished to build flats; but since property values have fallen by up to 30% in recent times, new flat building is untenable. The debate is now whether to build a drive-through fast food outlet, or a new rear entrance to the station. (Either scheme would affect the 'informal' station parking demonstrated by the cars just beyond the wall.)
