Wigton
Unlike neighbouring Dalston, Wigton has lost its original station buildings and only has a small metal shelter on each platform. That said, it is in a very tidy condition. Sunday scene viewed towards Dalston and Carlisle from the station footbridge. There are just three trains each way on Sundays running only between Whitehaven and Carlisle in the afternoon and early evening.
