Axminster
Built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn in 1885, Adams 4-4-2 Radial Tank no 30582 attracts attention while standing in the Lyme Regis bay platform at Axminster in the summer of 1960. The locomotive was withdrawn from Exmouth Junction shed less than a year later and cut up at Eastleigh Works in March 1962 see image 41585.
