Präbichl

Usual motive power on the Erzbergbahn in the 1970s was a pair of class 97 0-6-2RTs, assisted by a rack fitted diesel. However if the latter was unavailable, there was a chance of one of the line's class 197 0-12-0RTs being pressed into service. This was the case on 6 September 1975 as 197.301 blasts uphill between Glaslbremse and Präbichl at the head of the 15.35 empties from Vordernberg. See image 41155
