Charnock Richard
Freightliner 66560 leads a rake of empty coal wagons from Fiddlers Ferry Power Station to Hunterston between Coppull and Balshaw Lane Junction near to the village of Charnock Richard on 3 January 2013. Although Charnock Richard has never had a railway station the name will be familiar to many through its association with the motorway service area on the M6 just to the west.
