Welsh's Bridge Junction

Welsh's Bridge box, Inverness, in the mid 1970s. The Class 47 is almost certainly off the early evening 'Clansman' arrival from Euston - a much-missed service which was introduced after the 1974 WCML electrification, and then withdrawn in the cost-cutting run-up to rail privatisation.
